Role Description:

This is a remote role based in Australia. As a Business Analyst at CarbonSuite, you will work closely with customers to deploy and implement our software platform, support onboarding and adoption, and contribute across multiple areas of the business including product, operations, and testing.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, technical curiosity, and a passion for sustainability and climate technology.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working directly with customers to deploy and implement our software solution, ensuring successful onboarding, data integration, configuration, and adoption
• Managing high volumes of critical data
• Performing software test automation
• Writing detailed product specifications
• Conducting market research
• Creating presentations, marketing materials, and sales documents
• Developing and supporting operational processes

This is a dynamic role, so be prepared to "wear multiple hats" as the company's needs evolve and grow.

Qualifications

• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
• A passion for sustainability and climate change with a drive to make the world a better place
• Strong knowledge of greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting principles and emissions calculation methodologies
• Familiarity with climate reporting and sustainability frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, ISSB/IFRS S1 and S2, TCFD, or related standards
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Information Systems or Environmental Science
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English
• Experience in data modeling and database management
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, R)
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities with a keen eye for detail
• Thrives in fast-paced environments and can excel with minimal direction
• Learns and iterates quickly, embracing a fail-fast approach and growing from mistakes
• Coachable and receptive to feedback
• Demonstrates punctuality and reliability by consistently meeting deadlines
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly NetSuite, is a plus
• Experience with sustainability reporting or carbon accounting is a plus
