CarbonSquare is an Amsterdam-based climate tech startup that makes carbon accounting fast, simple, and affordable for SMEs. Our AI-powered tool turns invoices into a complete carbon footprint report automatically, no consultants, no manual data entry.
We help suppliers and SMEs respond to carbon and ESG data requests from buyers, procurement teams, and tenders with clarity and confidence.
**The Opportunity**
CSRD and Scope 3 regulations are creating urgent demand across Dutch and European SMEs. We have a working product and a clear market. What we need now is a driven sales partner to help us reach the right companies.
This is a commission-based freelance role, ideal for someone with an existing network in sustainability, B2B SaaS, accounting, or supply chain who wants to earn alongside their current work.
**What You'll Do**
- Identify and approach SMEs that need carbon reporting support
- Introduce CarbonSquare and run initial conversations
- Connect qualified prospects to our founder for scoping and closing
- Build relationships in logistics, construction, food, or manufacturing sectors
**What You Bring**
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, or consulting
- A network in the Dutch or European SME or sustainability space
- Self-starter mindset: you work independently and follow through
- Dutch language skills are a strong plus
- Familiarity with ESG, CSRD, or carbon topics is a bonus not required

Dit is een freelance rol op commissiebasis ideaal voor iemand met een bestaand netwerk in duurzaamheid, B2B-sales, accountancy of supply chain.

- MKB-bedrijven identificeren en benaderen die carbon rapportage nodig hebben
- CarbonSquare introduceren en eerste gesprekken voeren
- Gekwalificeerde prospects doorsturen naar onze founder voor afsluiting
- Relaties opbouwen in sectoren zoals logistiek, bouw, food of productie
**Wat Je Meebrengt**
- Ervaring in B2B-sales, business development of consultancy
- Een netwerk in het Nederlandse of Europese MKB of duurzaamheidslandschap
- Een proactieve, zelfstandige werkhouding
- Nederlands spreken is een sterke plus
- Kennis van ESG, CSRD of carbon is een voordeel geen vereiste
