Sustainability and Climate Change Intern

About the Role
We are seeking proactive and detail-oriented interns to join our Sustainability and Climate Change team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to ongoing research, data collection, and documentation efforts that support environmental sustainability, policy development, and climate action projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct background research and data analysis on sustainability, renewable energy, waste management, and climate adaptation topics.
- Support the preparation of environmental and sustainability reports, project proposals, and technical documents.
- Assist in reviewing and summarizing environmental laws, regulations, and policy frameworks.
- Contribute to the development of sustainability initiatives, awareness campaigns, and climate action programs.
- Help track and document the progress of ongoing projects and prepare presentations for internal and external use.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect information and ensure consistency in sustainability reporting.
Skills and Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Climate Studies, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Familiarity with environmental policies, sustainability standards, and global climate frameworks (e.g., SDGs, ESG, Paris Agreement) is preferred.
- Proficiency in handling formal documents, data entry, and report formatting.
- Basic technical knowledge of sustainability assessment tools or data analysis software is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
