This is a full-time, on-site position for a Head Accountant based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Head Accountant will lead financial operations, oversee budgeting and forecasting, manage accounting systems, ensure compliance with local financial regulations, and optimize financial processes for efficiency. Additional responsibilities may include preparing financial reports, conducting audits, and supporting decision-making processes with financial analysis and insights.
- Strong expertise in Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting, and Internal Controls.
- Proficiency in Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Knowledge of Compliance with Local Taxation Laws and Financial Regulations.
- Experience in Team Management, Leadership, and Oversight of Accounting Teams.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Prior experience in sustainability-focused industries or carbon trading platforms is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in both English and local languages are desirable.
