Job Responsibilities:
  • Support EHS Department
  • Assist in completing the administrative work of the EHS Department.
  • Run reports and create slide decks.
  • Provide logistical support to EHS personnel.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by EHS Manager
  • Assist in planning and developing ISO 14001 and 45001 compliant documents
  • Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
  • Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
  • Provides information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains safety supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
  • Assist with workers compensation program, random drug testing protocol and management of company motor vehicle record program.
  • Coordinate with local project sites in new areas to establish clinic relationships for pre-employment testing, workers compensation claims, etc.
  • Assist in drafting new policies and presentations.
  • Maintain current data and run program reports in the risk management software system(s).
  • Assist with filing, tracking, and documentation of worker's compensation claims; research insurance coverage as needed.
  • Schedule safety training sessions for and maintain training records; distribute certificates of completion to employees.
  • Schedule and coordinate safety meetings; document meeting notes and distribute to attendees.
  • Organize and track safety-related data; generate reports as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • A 2 year college degree or working towards a 4 year degree is required.
  • Two (2) years of administrative experience is preferred.
  • Experience in construction, safety, healthcare, and/or worker’s compensation is preferred.
  • Candidate must possess excellent verbal and organizational skills, independent judgment, as well as the ability to multi-task.
  • Position requires demonstrated professionalism, tact, and diplomacy while handling sensitive and confidential matters. Some analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
  • General computer proficiency and MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) required.
  • 6+ months of experience in multinational manufacturing enterprises.
  • SAP, Microsoft Suite, Outlook experience preferred.
