The Production Operator will be responsible for the efficient production of products according to established procedures following all safety protocols and workplace policies to ensure profitable business operations./ppResponsibilities:/pulliRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications/liliAssemble circuits requiring fine hand assembly/liliCheck final assembly for finish, labelling and packaging methods/liliCheck mechanical dimensions and perform go-no-go electrical tests/liliIdentify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies/liliPerform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts, and systems/liliCollect, record, and summarize inspection results/liliComplete manual assembly, cleaning, testing, inspection work as per work instructions/liliPrepare and sort material as per work instruction, load/unload material onto machine or manual workstations/liliConnect cables, tubes and wires to complete assemblies and installations/liliOperate and tend automated assembling equipment such as robotic and fixed automation equipment/liliConduct cosmetic, functional inspection as per work instruction, Mark, record, and report defects/liliClean and perform preparation of worksite, workstation, and machines/liliWork with equipment operators to facilitate machine alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery equipment, and materials/liliCompletion of other duties and projects as assigned/liliEnsure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct/liliAdhere to all health and safety rules and procedures/li/ulpMinimum Qualifications:/pulliAble to work a Continental S hift (12 hour shift 6pm 6am)/liliHigh School Diploma or equivalent certificate/lili2-4 years experience (manufacturing/production experience)/liliStrong communication skills/liliDemonstrated attention to quality and detail/liliAble to perform repetitive tasks, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor activities/liliAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment/li/ulpPreferred Qualification:/pulliPrevious experience as a General Labourer in a manufacturing environment an asset/liliExisting knowledge of Workplace Safety, First Aid and CPR preferred/liliAbility to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin/li/ulpCompensation and Benefits:/ppCanadian Solar offers a competitive salary plus fully comprehensive benefits and performance bonus package based on an annual objective achievement.
