Job Summary: The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support the supply chain process. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts. Coordinate order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely delivery. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to optimize workflows. Process shipping and receiving documentation in the warehouse management system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility. Identify and report any inventory discrepancies or issues. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency. Qualifications & Requirements: ~ High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in warehouse operations are a plus. ~3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, and professional in SAP/Excel are a plus. ~ Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse management software. ~ Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred). ~ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. ~ Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.). ~ Effective communication and teamwork skills. ~ Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to warehouse operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory tracking software. Work Environment: This position requires standing, walking, lifting, and handling warehouse materials.
