Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team at Canadian Solar in the United States. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient movement and management of materials within our warehouse operations, contributing to our mission of providing sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and Ride on Pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to transport materials safely.
  • Manage inventory levels and assist with order picking and packing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers efficiently.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow processes.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure operational safety.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials handled.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations or material handling.
  • Forklift and Ride on Pallet Jack certification is required.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, including OSHA regulations.
  • Experience with RF scanners or similar technology is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
