We’re looking for a Data Engineer to take ownership of our data infrastructure and power our GenAI-driven solutions that make decarbonization seamless.
As our first data engineer, you’ll define how data powers our products and insights.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines for collection, cleaning, and transformation.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and customer success teams to design and deliver data solutions that enable advanced analytics, modeling, and insights.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across multiple systems.
- Support analytics, reporting, and decision-making through clean, well-structured datasets.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing large datasets.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/data pipelines (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
- Proven experience working with cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Snowflake.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and best practices for scalable, maintainable architectures.
- Bonus: Experience with GenAI or LLM-related data workflows, including vector databases, embeddings, or prompt pipelines.
- Work Authorization: Authorization to work in Canada is required.
- Location: This is a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days of in-person collaboration per week.
