CALSTART has an immediate opening for a highly motivated person to join our team as a Technical Project Manager II, Salesforce Administrator. This position will support the Salesforce team and internal project initiatives, and report directly to the Technical Program Manager, Market Acceleration. This role will serve as a database administrator and technical project manager for the five Salesforce-based Voucher/Incentive Processing Centers (VPC).

Additionally, the Technical Project Manager II, Salesforce Administrator will:

  • Work with each CALSTART program manager to understand program needs and translate to Salesforce architecture and design
  • Develop process improvements, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and develop resolutions, including assigning deliverables for team and other managers
  • Support the backlog work items for portfolio of incentive programs
  • Maintain ongoing Salesforce system administration, as well as process improvement and supporting the Salesforce team
  • Other duties as assigned

  • 3+ years as a Project Manager in a relevant field
  • 2+ years as a Salesforce Administrator or CRM experience
  • Proven ability to synthesize and translate information from non-technical audiences into technical requirements. Ability to serve as a translator between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Salesforce Administrators Certification
  • Experience managing project scope of work and deliverables, budget, key performance indicators (KPIs), and timelines
  • Experience in CRM system administration and customization
  • Ability to understand, develop, implement, and train on technology systems, business processes, operational workflows, etc.
  • Experience using both written and verbal means to create system and user documentations

Desired Qualifications

  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification
  • 2-5 years Salesforce administration experience
  • Nonprofit sector experience (operations, grant funding, etc.)
  • Full lifecycle implementation of CRM
  • Knowledge of the advanced transportation industry, zero-emission vehicles and supporting technology
  • Advanced Salesforce flow skills or ability to write/debug custom code
