Project Coordinator - CMO Program Operations - Remote Within California

CALSTART is #hiring! Our new Project Coordinator will provide support to our Clean Mobility Options (CMO) Administration Team, ensuring that all program activities are conducted in accordance with program requirements based on the implementation manual. Our Project Coordinator will support both external and internal stakeholders, including state and local government officials, community organizations, applicants and awardees, and the program administration team. The Project Coordinator works closely with the Lead Project Manager and the Program Administration Team to ensure that the program is meeting its objectives and achieving its goals.

The Project Coordinator will also:

  • Assist the Lead Project Manager in ensuring program activities comply with the Implementation Manual's requirements.
  • Monitor project progress generating program reports and presentations, interpreting, and updating policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating program meetings, stakeholders and outreach activities, providing technical assistance and support to grant program stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with program regulations and standards.
  • Utilize software platforms to create, edit and maintain program reports, presentations, and other program-related documents while also providing technical support to team members.
  • Produce, edit, and conduct quality assurance/quality control checks on content for use across all communication platforms.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Non-Profit Management, Transportation or Municipal Planning or the equivalent.
  • One year of experience with high proficiency in software platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and online application systems.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with state and federal transportation grant programs and regulations.
  • Experience with updating website content.
  • Knowledge of program administration and application systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing systems and standard operating procedures for compliance and training.
  • Experience in grassroots community engagement for transportation and mobility.
  • Background in mobility equity, justice, and programs for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.
  • Experience in providing program technical assistance to diverse audiences.
  • PMP Certification or related.

CALSTART includes the complete salary range amount $52,000-$67,000 of the job announced. We determine pay based on education, experience, internal equity, and any other factors relevant to the job. Pay for this role will typically be from $52,000-$57,000.
