We have an exciting opening for a Lead Project Manager to support the Transit Intercity Rail Capital Program, 50+ electric truck deployment projects and to carry out the San Joaquin Valley Regional Office's broader mission. Support the Deputy Director with CBO relationship management, engaging small owner/operator fleets and associations, engaging agriculture stakeholders in zero emission solutions and much more! Additionally, the Project Manager

  • The role will support CALSTART's Clean Fuels, Bus, Truck, and Innovative Mobility initiatives.
  • Lead the deployment projects.
  • Engage in the data validation, assessment, demonstration, and development activities.
  • Support or brainstorm opportunities for growth as directed by the Division Director and Initiative leads.
  • Manage cross-functional team projects.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of project management experience in the cleantech space, including PM planning, project strategy development, deliverable and budget management.
  • Experience developing and executing program enhancement strategies (to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of programs).
  • Experience with grant application and management at Federal and State level.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of goods movement and offroad electrification within Agricultural Industry.
  • Knowledge of the high level zero emission transition process.
  • Knowledge of CARB investment strategy and zero emission legislation.
  • Knowledge of ZEV technologies and economic/feasibility barriers of entry for SJV fleets.
  • Knowledge of goods movement and offroad electrification within Agricultural Industry.
