Senior Investment Manager (Project Finance | Renewable Energy)
A global clean-energy investment manager is expanding its Asia team. This senior role combines investment execution with active portfolio oversight and value creation across renewable energy platforms in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the underwriting, financial analysis and execution of renewable energy and energy-transition investments, including solar, wind and energy storage.
- Manage commercial negotiations, transaction structuring and documentation, and assess development and construction risks.
- Oversee portfolio and platform performance, tracking business-plan KPIs and working with management teams on value-creation opportunities.
- Originate, screen and evaluate investment opportunities across Asia.
- Support project financing, fundraising, capital allocation and the development of the regional investment strategy.
- Prepare investment recommendations and materials for investment committee review; work with global colleagues on governance and risk.
- Mentor junior colleagues and represent the business with investors and industry stakeholders.
Key Requirements
- Experience in M&A, project finance or investment advisory, ideally in renewable energy or infrastructure.
- Strong transaction experience, including underwriting, financial modelling, valuation, commercial structuring and documentation.
- Project-financing experience and an understanding of development and construction risks.
- Hands-on experience in portfolio management, business-plan delivery or value creation.
- Good knowledge of renewable energy or energy-transition assets and APAC markets.
- An established network for originating or evaluating investment opportunities in Asia.
- Experience mentoring or managing junior colleagues.
