UFBLAB Singapore Pte. Ltd. is a pioneering, deep-tech focusing on the transformative nanobubble cleantech. By industrializing nanobubble breakthrough physics (<200nm gas-liquid dynamics), we enable global enterprise clients across Agritech, Aquatec, Advanced Surface Cleaning, and Industrial Wastewater, Environmental Remediation, Mining, Produced water treatment to drastically reduce carbon footprints and chemical usage.

Backed by a robust strategic blueprint—including an active multi-phase equity framework and matching government Innovation Grants—we operate out of Singapore's deep-tech core to bridge the gap between laboratory bench concepts and field-ready, containerized and engineered assets.

The Role & Core Mandate

As our Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will partner directly with the technical founders to transition UFBLAB from a cutting-edge deep-tech research lab into a regional industrial scaling engine. You will own the entire execution blueprint: driving day-to-day operations, standardizing corporate governance, managing capital-intensive infrastructure, navigating complex state-level grant mechanics, and scale-manufacturing our commercial hardware skids.

This is a true co-founder track role requiring a rare combination of industrial engineering grit, structured operational precision, and early-stage venture agility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure & Lab Operations

• Facility Management: Oversee our 1,500 sq ft advanced wet lab and controlled cleanroom hub within Singapore's clean tech belt.

• CapEx Procurement: Lead the sourcing, installation, and optimization of state-of-the-art analytical tracking gear and laser diagnostics (Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA), Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS)).

• Compliance & Scale: Establish and maintain strict ISO cleanroom facility certifications and rigorous laboratory safety protocols.

2. Engineering Production & Supply Chain Strategy

• Hardware Scale-Up: Build the manufacturing blueprint to transition verified chemical concepts into scalable physical test circuits and industrial containerized field skids.

• Vendor Ecosystems: Secure, negotiate, and manage high-precision manufacturing sub-contractors for advanced cavitation components (ceramic vs. metallic micro-nozzles).

• Quality Assurance: Standardize validation loops and automated sensory pipelines deployed directly into enterprise production networks.

3. Financial Runway & Grant Architecture

• Grant Governance: Manage the operational compliance, milestone tracking, and capital drawdown loops for the Enterprise Singapore Joint Innovation Grant (75% non-dilutive cushion) and international research consortia (e.g., EUREKA/Innovate UK).

• Operational Runway: Control the corporate budget, optimize engineering payroll allocation, and implement lean capital preservation protocols during fund-raising extension windows.

4. Commercial Program Management

• Project Delivery: Operationalize the "CapEx to Variable OpEx" fee-for-service contract framework, ensuring high-margin delivery of Feasibility Trials and custom prototyping.

• Organizational Scaling: Architect internal HR pipelines to onboard foundational fluid-dynamics engineering talent, chemical analysis leads, and project managers.

Who You Are

• Proven Scale-Up Operator: 7+ years of executive operational leadership (COO, VP of Operations, or General Manager) within a hardware-heavy, deep-tech, biotech, or industrial engineering ecosystem.

• Venture Mature: Prior experience navigating early-stage venture dynamics (Pre-Seed to Series A) or scaling deep-tech corporate spin-offs.

• Industrial Competence: Deep familiarity with industrial skid manufacturing, fluid dynamics, cleanroom operations, automated validation loops, or chemical/hardware engineering pipelines.

• Local Grant Ecosystem Knowledge: Direct experience structuring, auditing, or working alongside Enterprise Singapore (ESG) grant frameworks, A*STAR, or joint international research initiatives is highly advantageous.

  • • Strategic Builder: A high-integrity leader willing to get their hands dirty building operations from the ground floor while designing long-term compounding revenue structures.
