C-Crete is looking for a Concrete Laboratory Technician who will perform fabrication and testing on novel concrete materials under the direction of the laboratory manager and assisting with pilot and field work as needed. The position is for a full-time employee who will work in a highly inter-disciplinary and dynamic environment. The candidates must have a do-whatever-it-takes attitude and must be able to manage workload on multiple projects while maintaining high quality and productivity. The successful candidates will have a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, depending on experience, technical proficiency, and professional background and employee benefits plans including health insurance (medical/dental/vision insurance), disability insurance, relocation assistance, paid time off, bonus, professional development assistance, etc. Perform fabrication, testing and characterization of various cementitious materials and concrete samples · Perform various ASTM, AASHTO and ACI Testing. · Perform various pilot and field testing at larger than laboratory scale. · Install, maintain and calibrate equipment and setups involving materials, mechanical, and chemical and civil engineering disciplines · Collect and analyze test data and prepare reports explaining the results · Ability to lift and move · Ability to drive and operate a forklift with operator certification High school diploma or equivalent · Highly motivated and a self-starter for daily operations · Strong hands-on skills with ability to use data and metrics for making assumptions and decisions Prior work experience with ASTM, AASHTO and ACI standards. · Previous direct experience in a concrete laboratory · Previous experience in pilot manufacturing and maintenance of equipment · Prior experience with fabrication and testing of cementitious materials with low embodied carbon.
