Green Tech Internship Opportunities: Help Build the Future of Power - Join BYGGO Design!

Apply now

Description:

Are you sick of hearing about climate change, plastic pollution, and a host of other worldwide crises, and feeling like you cannot do anything about it? We hear you. And we are here to tell you that you do not need to wait until you finish school to make a difference; you can apply your knowledge in the real world now!

Here at BYGGO Design, we’re developing a universal, modular power supply system that can power everything from phones and laptops to EVs and solar systems — while cutting CO₂ emissions, plastic waste, and E-waste on a global scale.

We are looking for two interns to join our team!

We imagine one is studying electrical or microchip engineering and the other is studying industrial engineering/design, but both are passionate about building real-world solutions that matter. Could you be one of our new interns?

What you Will Gain:

This is not just an internship, it’s your launching pad into the real world of green tech! From this internship, you will gain:

· Hands-on experience with analogue electronics, power supply design, and hardware development

· Mentorship from experienced engineers and founders

· Creative freedom and room to explore your own interests

· A collaborative, startup culture based at Symbion Østerbro

· Free coffee, tea, cocoa, and access to a fresh, healthy, affordable lunch buffet

· Opportunity for a future role in the company

Your Tasks as the Electrical Engineering Intern:

The benefit of working in a start-up is that the world is your oyster. If you think of a solution or something that you are interested in and our company is missing, you can work on that as well! Here are some tasks that you can work on:

· Working on and developing SMPS and SVS topologies

· Prototyping, bench testing and iterative optimisation using SPICE simulations

· Testing, refining, and validating hardware systems

· Contributing to system architecture and innovation

· Collaborating with other employees with different educations and cultural backgrounds

· The option to bring forward your own project ideas aligned with our mission

Your Tasks as the Industrial Design Intern:

· Drafting ideas in digital design platforms such as SolidWorks

· Collaborating with an interdisciplinary and multicultural team to design the power supply block

· Have the opportunity to assist with electrical engineering and building power supply prototypes

· The option to bring forward your own project ideas aligned with our mission

Who You Are (Electrical Engineering Intern):

· Studying Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines

· Strong expertise in power electronics with a focus on SMPS and at a minimum, some knowledge of ZVS

· Having Knowledge of analogue electronics and/or power electronics, which is essential

· Are fluent in English

· You enjoy hands-on, practical engineering work, from prototyping and bench testing to iterative optimisation- supported by SPICE simulations

· You are highly self-driven, proactive, and comfortable taking the initiative to work independently

· Can collaborate with others to execute work efficiently
