Regional Sales Manager - Ports

SUMMARY
The Regional Sales manager- Mainly for Port business, is responsible for achieving sales quota and account objectives in a specified geographic territory in Northern California, especially for the port businesses of Oakland. The RSM will build, and maintain the relationship with specified with port authorities, logistic company, solution provider for electric trucks through training, sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical assistance while also seeking new partnerships. In addition, SM will represent the company s products, services, and solutions to customers, while managing the accounts planning cycle and ensuring customers' needs and expectations are met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Identifies, develops, or evaluates marketing strategy.
- Develop and grow the current sales network within the RSD region.
- Sales network expansion within their APR.
- Improve Company's share of the dealer's business.
- Train and support the dealer's sales staff.
- Collaborate with the Sales Coordinator on order entry and order tracking.
- When required prospect for National Accounts within your assigned region.
- Be alert and sensitive to movements by our competition.
- Meet or exceed all your agreed upon corporate goals.
- Prepare Dealers quotes in a timely manner.
- Support as needed with the after-market needs of your partners
- Assist with accounts collection when requested.
- Uses sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products or services.
- Coordinates or participates in promotional activities or trade shows.
- Initiates market research studies within their region and reports findings to Company'.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years in the industry either at the OEM, logistic, and port business experience
- 5+ years of Sales & Marketing experience.
- Preferred associate or bachelor's degree - depending on level of industry experience.
- Proven record in field - references within the industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Travel Required: > 25%.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

BASE SALARY RANGE: $100K-150K per year
