Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial operations of the subsidiary, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting that complies with both U.S. and international accounting standards.
  • Manage the budgeting process, including setting financial goals and targets, and ensuring their alignment with the overall business strategy of the subsidiary.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance for the subsidiary, minimizing tax liabilities while adhering to tax laws.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory agencies.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team, providing guidance and training to ensure the department's continued growth and success.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required, with a master's degree preferred.
  • Significant experience in financial management, preferably within a multinational or U.S.-based company.
  • Expertise in financial accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis, with a strong understanding of financial reporting regulations.
  • Knowledge of tax planning and compliance in the U.S. is essential.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate financial information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial responsibilities, while also collaborating effectively with other departments.
  • Proficiency in financial software and technologies, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Language requirement: Fluency in Mandarin and English.
