Logistics Specialist
SUMMARY
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting logistic request and operations for incoming material delivery. Making arrangements to meet shipment requirements as well as planning and tracking shipments into production facility or to North American warehouses. A team player who is proactive to resolve gaps and ensure delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Negotiate favorable shipping contracts with carriers and freight providers to secure cost-effective transportation solutions while maintaining service quality.
- Oversee the end-to-end outbound logistics process.
- Manage inventory, updating shipping information as forklifts are sold.
- Assist the shop in loading units when needed.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Resolve problems and devise quick contingency plans to resolve problems that come up unexpectedly.
- Maintain written training materials and adapt new strategies into documentation to assist in current and future training.
- Communicate with freight companies, factories, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of goods.
- Oversee the preparation of all export shipment paperwork for the US, and Canada
- Develops and administers programs to determine the most advantageous and economical shipment methods for company products.
- Initiate and ensure all LTL shipments, including those of spare parts, are scheduled, picked up, and delivered.
- Monitor freight company and vendor payments and follow up with accounting to avoid credit holds.
- Submit, monitor, and update all PR/PO for office/sales/spare parts purchases for the office. Ensure all orders are tracked, delivered on time, and payment made to the vendor.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and calculator, ten key by touch.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position can be a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk; or hear.
The employee is required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Basic Qualifications Position Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin helpful but not required
- Good communication skills on all fronts, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to ensure free flow of company logistics process
- Great attitude to learn and grow
- Excellent time management skills to always ensure efficiency in service delivery
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field
