Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality written and digital content on sustainable finance and development topics.
- Support BwB’s marketing, branding, and communications activities, including social media, newsletters, and website updates.
- Assist with planning and coordinating events, webinars, and stakeholder engagements.
- Prepare presentations, briefs, and communication materials for internal and external use.
- Conduct research to inform communications, messaging, and outreach strategies.
- Support the African Hub Director with day-to-day communication and coordination tasks.
- Contribute to project delivery by completing communication-related tasks on time.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
- Interest in sustainable development, climate issues, and the role of strategic communication in driving impact.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and develop new marketing and communications competencies.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with experience managing timelines and coordinating workflows.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience in marketing, digital communications, social media management, or content creation is a strong advantage.
- Financial modelling skills are not required but would be considered a bonus.
- Proficiency in English is essential; fluency in a second language is highly desirable.
- Recent graduate, ideally with a background in Marketing, Communications, Sustainable Finance, Climate Change, International Development, or related fields.
- Fluency in English; mastery of a second language is highly desirable.
- Ability to work remotely with a reliable home office setup
