we are changing the game in the utilities industry. Utility Consulting Director is responsible for the successful sale and execution of management and advisory consulting engagements. Transmission Planning Grid Modernization & Distribution Planning Resource Planning & Market Assessment Financial Analysis & Rates Utility Investment Planning Renewable Energy Energy Asset Advisory The Director will manage and provide expertise and professional development to a team of consultants and analysts in managing project quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontracts, proposals, estimates, and client relations. The Utility Consulting Director displays leadership through example and is confident and willing to take it to the next level. Youll organize and direct consulting projects, including the overall pursuit, negotiation, execution, cost, schedule, and quality of deliverables. Youll facilitate workshop sessions with seniorlevel client teams to understand client requirements, uncover needs, and develop action plans. Your communication and planning skills are vital to keeping everyone on the same page with project personnel's needs and department management. Youll liaise with internal and external subjectmatter experts to pursue and deliver consulting projects. Youll compile, distribute, and present status reports, including project progress, schedule, cost, and budget impacts to internal and external stakeholders. Youre a curious seeker, passionate about personal and professional growth, and willing to take strategic risks. Youll establish project teams, coordinate activities amongst multiple disciplines, and ensure the efficient, costeffective utilization of staff. Youll provide performance feedback to personnel managers for project team members as appropriate. Youll develop and contribute to training curricula and materials for consultants and analysts. Youll be accountable for delivering thirdparty vendors and subcontractors, including contracts, scope, schedule, and budget. Youll ensure prime contract, subcontractor, and supplier invoicing is processed promptly in alignment with agreements. Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related degree from an accredited program. MBA preferred. Minimum of 13 years of relevant consulting experience. Excellent business acumen with proven success managing consulting engagements. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets quickly and efficiently. Ability to uncover customer needs, develop recommendations and deliver them persuasively. Strong understanding of financial concepts. Excellent planning and analytical skills. The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary yearend incentive bonus program.
