Burnett Specialists is excited to announce the role of Senior Talent Sourcing Specialist (CONTRACT) for a large, industry-leading organization in the energy sector. This highly respected company is at the forefront of renewable energy, flexible power, and infrastructure development. The Senior Talent Sourcing Specialist will build strategic talent pipelines across corporate and technical functions that support solar, wind, battery storage, engineering, analytics, and emerging energy technologies.
In this position, you will partner closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to identify and engage high-caliber professionals who will help advance sustainability initiatives and long-term growth objectives. This role offers exposure to complex, mission-critical hiring initiatives in a large-scale enterprise.
Position: Sr. Talent Sourcing Specialist
Location: Downtown Houston
Parking: $150/month reimbursement
Pay: DOE
Benefits: 2 weeks PTO & Holiday pay
Contract Duration: 6+ months (will most likely be extended)
Responsibilities:
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define sourcing strategies across renewable energy, flexible power, engineering, analytics, ESG, regulatory, finance, and strategy functions.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing plans targeting professionals in energy, utilities, renewables, oil and gas, and infrastructure sectors.
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, industry job boards, energy forums, and professional networks to build and maintain robust talent pipelines.
- Conduct candidate outreach and initial screenings to evaluate qualifications, experience, and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system.
- Track sourcing metrics, including pipeline health, response rates, and time-to-fill data to improve effectiveness.
- Analyze labor market trends and workforce dynamics within the energy sector to inform sourcing strategies.
- Support employer branding initiatives through strategic candidate engagement and communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of sourcing or recruiting experience within energy, utilities, infrastructure, engineering, or related industries.
- Demonstrated expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter and other advanced sourcing tools.
- Experience developing sourcing strategies for corporate and technical roles.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, including Avature or comparable platforms.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze sourcing metrics and generate data-driven insights.
- Knowledge of renewable energy, oil and gas, sustainability initiatives, or energy market dynamics preferred.
