Description
An Administrative Assistant at Burke Home Services will support our home remodeling business with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. This is an in-person, part-time role (with the potential for a full time position in the future) ideal for someone with experience in bookkeeping and office operations.
Hours & Compensation
Pay Rate: $18/hr. to $22/hr.
Average of 20-30 hours per week (typically between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays)
Location: 1410 Spruce Street, Suite 112, Stroudsburg (In-Person)
Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accurate records
• Perform data entry and maintain organized digital and paper filing systems
• Use QuickBooks to track expenses, create invoices, and generate reports
• Assist with vendor communication and invoice tracking
• Assist with customer invoicing and payment processing
• Support general administrative duties as needed (calls, filing, document prep)
• Assists with regular light cleaning of customer accessible areas in the office.
• Performs administrative functions to support all departments as needed.
• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Other duties as needed
Job Requirements
• Previous experience in bookkeeping or administrative support (1–2 years preferred)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Comfortable with basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) QuickBooks and SalesForce or other CRM
• Neat, clean, professional appearance
