How You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen
- Collaborate with colleagues on embedding sustainability priorities and healthcare insights into Group and Market Unit plans.
- Identify and leverage clinical insights from claims, treatment data, and healthcare trends to inform Bupa’s Net Zero Transition Plan, Communities strategy, Nature strategy and Advocacy Agenda.
- Provide sustainable healthcare expertise to colleagues, championing innovation and driving progress in priority areas.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, subject matter experts, and strategic partners, informing a continuous cycle of insight generation, knowledge sharing and opportunities to influence.
- Support the activation of our Sustainability Advocacy and Partnerships strategy, including our presence at key international events.
- Support the activation of engagement campaigns and strategic partnerships to champion healthier, climate-resilient cities.
- Manage Bupa’s approach to waste, single-use plastics, and circularity, monitoring and reporting progress.
- Support the activation of our Nature strategy,
- bringing internal clinical expertise and collaborating with academic partners, including at key international moments.
- Subject-matter expertise in sustainable healthcare, including environmental impacts of healthcare and health impacts of climate change.
- Experience preparing for major international events linked to health and the environment, and generating thought leadership content.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and adapt messaging for different audiences.
- Strong diplomacy skills and the ability to work across geographies, health systems, and cultures.
- Proven ability to deliver sustainable healthcare insights that shape organisational direction.
- Track record of developing and delivering successful projects across complex business structures.
- Organised, calm, and able to prioritise in a fast-moving environment.
- Personal drive, energy, and enthusiasm, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence upwards.
- A collaborative spirit, supporting others to meet objectives and deliver high-quality work.
