Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a BPI Certified Home Performance Energy Auditor located in Williston, VT. Responsibilities include conducting initial home energy audits, preparing comprehensive energy audit reports that included recommended work-scope with contracted pricing, conducting sales follow-up and ongoing customer service, managing the project kickoff, and conducing final test outs. Auditors work directly with Efficiency Vermont and Vermont Gas to help customers maximize current weatherization rebate offerings and are expected to be "hands on" from the initial audit all the way through the final test out providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • BPI Certification
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, preferably in the energy or sustainability sector
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively
  • Ability to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate energy solutions
  • Understanding of energy efficiency, conservation, and sustainable practices
