About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to lead the execution of utility-scale solar PV plant projects across the U.S. The ideal candidate will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and stakeholder satisfaction.

You will work closely with engineering, procurement, contract, construction teams, and external partners, and report directly to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full project lifecycle of multiple renewable plants (particularly solar PV plants) – from pre-construction planning through commissioning and handover to operations
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and risks for multiple concurrent solar PV installations
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors, subcontractors, equipment vendors, and utilities to ensure timely execution
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards, reports, and risk registers
  • Facilitate permitting, interconnection, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, landowners, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings with field teams and contractors
  • Support procurement strategies, contract negotiations, and change order management
  • Lead project close-out including punch lists, performance testing, and final documentation
  • Work from sites and travel flexibility at least 40% of the time

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10-15 years of total experience in energy and 5+ years of renewable energy or utility-scale PV projects
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in different locations
  • Strong understanding of renewable technologies, construction practices, permitting, and interconnection processes
  • Familiarity with contract management (EPC, PPA, BOP) and project finance structures is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling tools
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel to project sites across the U.S. as needed
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus
