Chief Commercial Officer (Renewable Energy)
We are supporting a growing European renewable energy business in the appointment of a Chief Commercial Officer to lead its commercial strategy across a diversified portfolio of renewable energy assets.
The role will have responsibility for developing and executing the commercial strategy across solar, wind and battery storage projects, with a particular focus on PPA and offtake structuring.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial strategy across renewable energy assets
- Structure, negotiate and execute PPAs and other offtake agreements
- Develop route-to-market and revenue optimisation strategies
- Drive commercial strategy across solar, wind, BESS and co-located projects
- Manage relationships with utilities, corporates, traders and other market participants
- Work closely with development, investment and asset management teams
Candidate Profile
- Significant commercial experience within renewable energy / power markets
- Deep expertise in PPA and offtake structuring and negotiation
- Strong knowledge of the German energy market
- Experience across solar, wind and/or battery storage
- Exposure to additional European power markets would be advantageous
- Senior commercial experience within a renewable energy developer, IPP, utility or similar environment
