We are currently supporting a growing renewble energy business with the hire of a Team Lead for its Project Management team. The role combines people leadership with hands-on oversight of solar PV and battery storage projects.


You’ll lead and develop a team of project managers, take responsibility for selected strategic projects, and help ensure the wider portfolio is delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.


The Role

  • Lead, coach and develop the project management team, including resource planning and performance management.
  • Oversee the delivery of solar PV and BESS projects, taking direct responsibility for selected complex projects.
  • Support the team with project risks, delivery challenges and escalations.
  • Coordinate engineering, construction, procurement, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Improve project management processes, reporting and performance metrics.


Experience

  • Experience in solar PV or BESS project management.
  • Strong knowledge of rooftop PV projects across residential and commercial settings.
  • Experience leading project teams or mentoring project managers.
  • A track record of delivering complex projects to programme, budget and quality requirements.
  • Knowledge of relevant German VDE standards.
  • Strong stakeholder, risk and contract management skills.
  • C1 German
