Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Division Leader to spearhead expansion in specialized commercial construction services within the building envelope and fire protection industry.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a driven construction professional who wants to build a division from the ground up while helping shape the future of a growing company.

The ideal candidate brings expertise in one or more of the following services: firestopping, spray fireproofing, joint sealants, commercial waterproofing or spray polyurethane foam. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong industry relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead division startup activities, including estimating, bidding, and project management for commercial construction projects
  • Manage projects from preconstruction through completion
  • Oversee field installations and ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and quality requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, suppliers, and industry partners
  • Support division growth through business development and client relationship management
  • Train, mentor, and manage small operational and field teams as needed
  • Collaborate with company ownership on strategic planning, operational systems, and equipment procurement
  • Ensure profitability, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction across all projects
  • Develop scalable processes to support long-term expansion

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial firestopping, spray fireproofing, joint sealants, commercial waterproofing, spray polyurethane foam or related specialized commercial construction services
  • Proven experience with takeoffs, estimating, bidding, and field operations
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and building systems
  • Experience leading projects, teams, or operational initiatives
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel regionally for project and client site visits
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, but not required
  • Relevant certifications are a plus
