Environmental Senior Project Manager
An established engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to support the growing Grid Resilience and Renewable Energy sector. This individual will play a key role in leading environmental investigations, managing complex projects, and guiding teams in delivering sustainable solutions for large-scale infrastructure and clean energy initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Oversee and manage environmental projects from concept through completion, with a focus on grid resilience and renewable energy.
Lead and mentor junior staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
Supervise field investigations and ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Develop proposals, pursue new business opportunities, and maintain strong client relationships.
Manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across offices and disciplines to drive results.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation for stakeholders.
What You Bring
~ Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or related science (Master’s preferred).
~10+ years of experience in environmental investigations, remediation, and compliance
~ Strong knowledge of EPA, CERCLA, and RCRA regulations.
~ Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
~ Proven track record in managing projects, teams, and client relationships.
~ Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver reports, proposals, and presentations.
~ Strong analytical and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
~ Ability to travel locally for site visits and client meetings (valid driver’s license required).
