Vehicle Technician
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team, focusing on the operational maintenance, diagnostics, and customer support of our electric vehicle (EV) platform. This hands‐on role involves fabrication, assembly, performing vehicle servicing, and supporting field operations. The ideal candidate brings practical experience with EV platforms and a commitment to ensuring vehicle reliability and customer satisfaction. This position is key to maintaining our vehicles' performance and supporting our growing fleet. Job Title Vehicle Technician Hours 40 hours/week, in-person (9am to 5pm on weekdays) Location Madera, CA Work Expectations Receiving delivery of vehicles, doing initial inspection, and completing pre‐delivery checklists Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles and resolve them Traveling to customer sites to service vehicles and fix any issues that may arise Assisting in fabrication of prototypes/parts for R&D projects as needed, including welding Creating/completing test reports as needed by the engineering teams Take care of general maintenance and presentability of vehicles Delivering Boson vehicles to different customers Transport of materials between company locations Help in setting up booths at demos/expos, including transporting materials and vehicles Keep the working area clean and organized Work in coordination with operations team to assist with various tasks as needed Maintain/periodically audit inventory of tools and parts available in the workspace Readily available to adjust the schedule and attend work or meetings outside normal business hours, as needed by the reporting manager Willing to take up other tasks and help other technicians as required Qualifications & Skills Required High school diploma Ability to work with common tools found on a shop floor Capability to drive a pickup truck and tow a trailer Prior experience doing hands‐on work on automobiles including chassis, suspension, brakes, tires, etc Knowledge of automotive related electrical wiring and ability to work with high voltage and low voltage automotive systems Ability to work well with others, collaborate on projects, and contribute positively to group dynamics Capacity to adapt to changing circumstances, handle multiple tasks or projects, and adjust to new ideas or approaches Capability to efficiently manage time to meet deadlines Additional Skills (Not Mandatory) Metal Fabrication (cutting, bending, and welding metal) Solar panel, inverter, and battery installation Certified for forklift operation #J-18808-Ljbffr
