Your Responsibilities As Deckhand Is
- Providing maintenance of the vessel and equipment.
- Assisting in the daily routine tasks for example painting, small repairs and mooring activities.
- Assisting with (un)loading of cargo and (crew) transfers.
- Ensuring the tidiness on deck.
You can move ahead as deckhand if you have:
- A citizenship of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia.
- At least 2 years’ relevant work experience as a deckhand on multicat vessels.
- Preferably basic knowledge in welding.
- Valid STCW documents.
- A good command of written and spoken English.
- Valid seafarers medical certificate.

- Your team: You will be working together with approximately 13 international colleagues on board of the worlds largest backhoe dredger Magnor. You will report to the master.
- Where you will work: Boskalis operates worldwide. It depends on the project location where you will embark.
- Full/part-time job: The function of deckhand is full time job. Working schedule is 4 weeks on/off for the projects in Europe and 6 weeks on/off for the projects outside of Europe.
