Role Description

We’re hiring a Procurement Specialist to help source solar equipment from across the solar panel supply chain. You’ll be responsible for identifying supply opportunities, building vendor relationships, and negotiating deals that support our growing pipeline. This role is fast-paced, impact-driven, and well-suited for someone who’s diligent, growth-minded, and motivated by the opportunity to grow and learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, onboard, and build relationships with vendors through proactive prospecting and outreach efforts
  • Communicate the value and benefits of Bluewater's services through cold calling, email campaigns, and virtual meetings
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers, tracking available inventory and securing optimal pricing for each party involved
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to secure favorable agreements for Bluewater’s customers
  • Compile and maintain a database of potential purchasing opportunities, tracking project details, timelines, and key contacts within a CRM software
  • Prepare and deliver purchase agreements, proposals, and deal documentation for customers and vendors, clearly outlining pricing and terms
  • Collaborate with team leads to develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with Bluewater’s business goals, forecasting supply needs and market opportunities

Qualifications

  • 0-3+ years of experience in sales, sourcing, procurement, supply chain management or other relevant fields
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a B2B sales role is preferred but not required
  • Exposure to cold outreach (cold calling, email campaigns, etc.)
  • Track record of achieving professional goals
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
  • Willingness to travel as needed for industry events (conferences, trade shows, client visits, etc.)
