Job Overview
This is a full-time, site-based role for an HVAC Control Systems Engineer located in the Louisville and Lexington Metropolitan Areas. The Control Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, programming, configuration, and commissioning of BAS and HVAC control systems. This includes working with DDC controllers, developing control sequences, integrating mechanical equipment, configuring graphics, and supporting on-site startup.
You will work directly with mechanical contractors, facility managers, commissioning agents, and internal project teams to ensure that systems are delivered on time, fully functional, and optimized for performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in systems engineering, software development, and network architecture to optimize building automation and energy efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects that enhance operational performance and sustainability across various facilities.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in BAS Programming and Systems Design
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, control theory, and mechanical/electrical fundamentals.
- Experience in Troubleshooting both mechanical and control issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer-facing professionalism.
- Relevant certifications with one or more BAS platforms (Tridium Niagara strongly preferred).
