Job Description

Tesla Battery and Solar Installer (Tesla PW3 Experience Required) IMMEDIATE NEED!

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Company: Blue Sky Energy

About Blue Sky Energy

We’re not your average solar company — we’re builders, problem solvers, and innovators helping families and businesses in Los Angeles gain energy freedom. Since 2006, Blue Sky Energy has delivered high-end solar and battery systems on some of the most beautiful and challenging homes in Southern California — from Malibu hillsides to Santa Monica rooftops.

If you love working with your hands, take pride in clean, high-quality installations, and want to be part of a team that’s actually making a difference, you’ll feel right at home here.

⚡Immediate need!  Must have Tesla Powerwall 3 (PW3), extensive solar rooftop experience.  We only hire pros who know their craft. If you’ve installed, commissioned, and troubleshot PW3s in the field — we want to meet you.  We have booked work well into next year.

What You’ll Do

  • Build clean, code-compliant solar and battery systems that power homes and change lives.
  • Install and commission Tesla Powerwall 3 batteries, Enphase inverters, MSP panels, and monitoring systems.
  • Lead a 2–4 person crew on residential and small commercial jobs.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain solar + battery systems to keep performance dialed in.
  • Collaborate with an experienced team that values safety, craftsmanship, and innovation.
  • Be part of unique projects that range from hillside rebuilds to fully off-grid microgrids.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of solar/battery installation experience (including field PW3 work).
  • Strong electrical background — service panels, disconnects, wiring, and conduit work.
  • Experience reading plans and one-line diagrams.
  • Hands-on comfort with ladders, rooftops, and all electrical tools.
  • Pride in doing work right — neat, safe, and beautiful.
  • Team-player energy, punctuality, and accountability.

Extra Awesome If You Have

  • NABCEP Certification or Electrical Trainee Card
  • Your own truck
  • C-10 License
  • OSHA 10/30 or CPR training
  • Leadership or military background
  • Curiosity for tech — SPAN panels, microgrids, advanced inverter systems

Why You’ll Love Working Here

At Blue Sky Energy, you’re not a number — you’re part of a crew that’s building the future of energy in LA.
We believe in:

  • Growth: Learn advanced systems like SPAN, microgrids, and whole-home automation.
  • Pride: We care about craftsmanship — we leave every project looking sharp and performing flawlessly.
  • Team: We back each other up. We laugh, learn, and celebrate wins together.

Pay: $28–$40+/hr or salary, based on experience
Benefits: Health + Dental Insurance, Paid Time Off
Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person (Los Angeles, CA 90024)
Relocation: Required before starting work
