Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize complex HVAC systems that emphasize energy efficiency, thermal performance, and long-term sustainability.
  • Select and specify major components (heat exchangers, fans, compressors) tailored to application-specific requirements.
  • Analyze refrigeration cycles to maximize operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and collaborate with controls engineers to enhance system integration and usability.
  • Participate in prototype development, system validation, and iterative design refinement based on performance testing.
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to translate technical requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Stay current on HVAC industry trends and compliance standards to ensure engineering excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HVAC system design experience in industrial, commercial, or mission-critical applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, component interactions, and performance optimization strategies.
  • Adept at deciphering electrical schematics and incorporating them into the blueprint for HVAC systems
  • Extensive background in specifying and evaluating key mechanical components, including compressors, airflow systems, and thermal transfer equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects from concept through execution.

Bonus Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with CAD for HVAC system layout.
  • Exposure to chiller systems, industrial refrigeration, or data center cooling is a plus.
  • Familiarity with testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of HVAC products.
