Do you possess excellent quantitative skills and love to work with data in the world of renewable energy?
We have an exciting role available as a Quantitative Analyst where you will be deeply involved in data analysis and modelling. This entails solving complex descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive problems in close collaboration with clients and being exposed to a wide range of different renewable projects.
We work with a broad set of tools, such as forecasting and various forms of mathematical optimization (LP, MILP, stochastic programming, etc.). With these, we provide knowledgeable insights into the intricacies of business case dynamics of renewable projects to support critical decisions in large-scale energy infrastructure investments.
You will join our Origination & Modelling team, which delivers world-class data analysis and modelling solutions. The team comprises an eclectic range of experts, from specialists to Ph.Ds. Within supply chain management, mathematics, wind modelling, energy engineering, electrical engineering, finance, and data science.
We have a strong position delivering advisory & modelling services and advising leading private equity investors within renewable technologies such as wind and solar generation, energy storage and PtX.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:
- Decision model development
- Evaluation & optimization of project business cases
- Sizing of significant project elements such as generating capacity, energy storages, electrolysis & synthesis
- Preparing and presenting decision support material and analyses for investment committees

Our headquarters is in Aalborg, but we also have offices in Vejle and Copenhagen. The workplace will depend on where the right candidate is located.
About You

You are a curious and outgoing individual who uses your passion as the daily fuel to make a difference. You are eager to provide high-quality deliverables, and on top of that, you are a dedicated team player.
Preferably, we expect you to enrich our business with the following experience and skills:
- A relevant master’s or PhD degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Energy Systems, or similar
- Advanced skills in programming languages such as R, Python, MATLAB etc.
- Insight into project management and financial evaluation of projects (an advantage but not a requirement)
- Knowledge of energy trading, power market etc. (an advantage but not a requirement)
- Skilled communicator and fluent in English – both written and verbal
If you can add Skilled in mathematical optimization (LP/MILP), it would be an advantage.

You will be part of a competent, young team. We are a group of geeks who are proud of the high quality that we will deliver to our clients. We are a team of 40 players working in Denmark and India. The team also includes ten students in part-time positions. We are continuously looking for talented people to help us contribute to the development of Global Renewable Energy Projects.
