We are now looking for an Enterprise Technology Architect to join us.
You will be part of our Enterprise Architect team with the purpose to help translate Billerud’s business needs and objectives into a vision and accompanying actionable roadmap within the areas of Infrastructure, technical platforms, integrations and security. We are in a phase where consolidation within IT is of extra importance, while still providing our users with the tools they need to do their job. Forming relationships with key stakeholders across the company and building trust as a platform for change will be imperative to succeeding in this role.
In this role you will create practical artifacts as a means to steer our technical landscape in the right direction. Involvement in projects related to your responsibility areas and assisting with solutions to secure the long-term outcomes we want may occur. You also have the chance to help mature the architecture function at Billerud and contribute with your personal experience.
The ideal candidate values and excels at soft skills just as much as technical skills. Soft skills such as clear communication, stakeholder management, ability to present to different audiences, and ability to listen and be open to different viewpoints along with a humble attitude are key. The role relies on informal leadership and the ability to push for change in tough situations, requiring creativity at times.

Your Main Tasks Will Be
- Setting a vision for our technology architecture (infrastructure, technical platforms, integrations) with a focus on consolidation and standardization.
- Create transition roadmaps, participate in the portfolio process and work with key stakeholders to realize the vision.
- Create where necessary steering documents such as principles, guidelines and standards.
- Review solutions and key design decisions together with other architects.
- Act as a mentor for other architects in the organization and help mature the architecture function.
- Act as a trusted partner and strategic advisor to key stakeholders – ensuring we move in the best direction for Billerud.
- Work together with the CISO and security team on architectural questions or needs related to security.

Qualifications
To succeed in this position, we believe you have:
- Previous documented experience working as an employed Enterprise Architect, preferably within the Technology layer.
- Documented experience of working with innovation and transformations within at least the IT organization, preferably at a company level.
- Hands-on experience within infrastructure.
- Experience within a manufacturing company.
- A degree within computer science or equivalent work experience.
