Role Overview

This role leads business growth and market positioning for geospatial, remote sensing, and AI-driven analytics solutions in agriculture, environment, and climate-risk domains. The position combines strategic business development, marketing execution, and client engagement to expand adoption of satellite, drone, and GIS-based services in Northeast India.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute regional business and marketing strategies for geospatial solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and close opportunities with government agencies, NGOs, enterprises, and research institutions.
  • Lead proposal development, tenders, and technical-commercial presentations.
  • Design marketing campaigns (digital, events, partnerships) showcasing remote sensing and GIS capabilities.
  • Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, ecosystem organizations, and industry stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to align solutions with client needs and ensure successful delivery.
  • Develop case studies, product positioning, and value propositions for MRV, sustainability, and agri-tech services.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and policy developments in climate and agriculture sectors.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Geospatial Science, Remote Sensing, GIS, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, consulting, or marketing in geospatial, climate-tech, or agritech sectors.
  • Strong understanding of remote sensing, GIS applications, and satellite data use cases.
  • Proven track record in proposal writing, client acquisition, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in climate MRV, carbon projects, or sustainability analytics.
  • Familiarity with Northeast India’s development landscape and public-sector procurement.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, branding, and product positioning for tech solutions.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
