 Spray Foam Manager – Better World Builders (Kalamazoo, MI)


Better World Builders is a leading Energy Efficiency and Home Performance contractor committed to improving homes and communities. We are seeking an experienced Spray Foam & Equipment Manager to lead our spray foam operation, oversee installations, manage equipment, and support field training.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and train spray foam crew members.

• Coordinate daily workflow, jobsite prep, and scheduling needs.

• Ensure all spray foam installations meet quality and safety standards.

• Oversee equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

• Maintain strong understanding of closed-cell chemical behavior and ratio control.

• Prevent overspray, ensure proper containment, and verify jobsite cleanliness.

• Communicate with Production Manager regarding progress, issues, and material needs.

• Ensure all documentation, including photos, is completed properly.

 

Qualifications:

• 3+ years spray foam experience, closed-cell expertise preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting ability.

• Experience leading crews or supervising field teams.

• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and varying temperatures and meet physical demands.

• Valid driver’s license, experience towing rig (Chauffeur’s license preferred).
