Construction Project Manager

• Location: Fort Totten Queens, NY (Onsite)
• Type: W2 Contract
• Duration: 6 months (Oct 27, 2025 - Apr 30, 2026)
Work You Will Do:
This role is key to the construction and implementation of energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable technology projects in retail, commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities. You'll be working closely with the Project Management Team, providing essential support in all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Assist with construction and implementation of energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable technology projects.
- Provide accurate and timely project status updates and communication to Project Managers.
- Participate in and contribute to weekly construction meetings at various project site locations.
- Organize and maintain project related files, drawings, materials, and correspondence.
- Assist with issuing bid packages to vendors and subcontractors for pricing and delivery schedules.
- Help manage project finances, vendor invoices, and client reporting activities.
- Prepare spreadsheets, analyze proposals, and conduct project review meetings.
- Perform and present findings on research related to project specifications, drawings, contract documents, financial reports, and other project related material.
- Collaborate with internal functions to prepare and maintain all forms of reports, meeting minutes, presentations, documentation, and related project material.
- Assist with ensuring compliance with company, industry, trade, and regulatory safety, standards, practices, and codes.
- Observe vendors and subcontractors onsite while providing administrative and technical support.
- Foster positive and effective business relationships with all parties.
The Successful Candidate Will Possess:
We're looking for an Associate Level professional with 2-4 years of experience who can thrive in a dynamic, onsite environment. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of construction management and be proficient with industry software.
- Exposure to large scale construction projects involving upgrades, renovations, and retrofits (institutional, government, commercial, and industrial sites).
- Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Project.
- Proficiency in Procore or other PM software.
- Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- A valid Driver’s License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
- Ability to review confidential US security information.
