What you will do

Business Development & Project Management

  • Identify, develop, and scale impactful projects in the field of energy-efficient and low-carbon buildings.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry, academia, and NPOs.
  • Support applicants and advisors in developing eligible project proposals.
  • Plan, manage, and monitor projects – including budget, resources, and timelines.
  • Ensure strategic impact and quality through continuous evaluation and knowledge management.

Communication & Public Relations

  • Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the foundation’s mission and projects.
  • Translate technical content into clear, inspiring messages for diverse audiences.
  • Coordinate media relations, digital channels, events, and campaigns to enhance visibility and reach.

Administration & Organization

  • Support informed decision-making through efficient administration, financial management, and optimized processes.


Who you are

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sustainability, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Communications, or a related field
  • You may also bring additional certifications in Project Management, Innovation, or Sustainability – that’s a plus
  • You have 8+ years of experience in business development, project management, and strategic communication, ideally within the building industry
  • You are fluent in German and English and confident communicating across cultures and functions
  • You have a proven track record in project acquisition, proposal development, and stakeholder engagement
  • You know how to plan, manage, and deliver complex projects — including budgeting, resource allocation, and impact reporting
  • You stay ahead of sustainability trends, climate policy, and the latest in energy-efficient and net-zero building technologies
  • You are a strategic thinker and inspiring communicator who builds trust, fosters collaboration, and turns technical insights into compelling stories
  • You thrive in dynamic environments — organized, adaptable, and calm under pressure
  • You combine creativity with analytical thinking, always seeking to improve, innovate, and make a measurable impact
