Location: Pune

We are looking to hire a Business Development professional to support business growth across green building certifications and sustainability advisory services in India. The role focuses on client acquisition, relationship management, and project conversion for certification and advisory services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for LEED, WELL, IGBC, GRIHA, EU Taxonomy, LCA, and related sustainability services.
  • Engage with developers, consultants, architects, MEP consultants, contractors, corporates, and industrial clients.
  • Generate leads, conduct client meetings, prepare proposals, and close projects.
  • Work closely with technical teams to align client requirements with certification and advisory solutions.
  • Track market trends, upcoming projects, and regulatory developments in the sustainability and ESG domain.
  • Build long-term client relationships and support repeat business.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development/sales in green buildings, sustainability, ESG, or construction advisory and Total Experience more than 10 years.
  • Strong understanding of LEED, WELL, IGBC, GRIHA, or similar certification systems (working knowledge preferred).
  • Experience dealing with real estate, infrastructure, corporate, or industrial projects in India.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or Sustainability
  • Experience with EU Taxonomy, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), ESG reporting, Green Building Certification, or carbon-related services is a plus.
