Position Overview
Environmental practices nationwide are seeking attorneys with 1–10+ years of experience in environmental compliance, permitting, enforcement defense, climate-related law, and environmental due diligence. These positions offer the chance to work on cutting-edge regulatory matters, support major development projects, and counsel clients on emerging ESG trends and sustainability strategies. Key Responsibilities
• Advise clients on federal and state environmental compliance, including EPA, CEQA, NEPA, and related frameworks
• Handle environmental litigation, enforcement actions, and administrative proceedings
• Manage permitting processes for air, water, wetlands, and related environmental areas
• Address hazardous waste issues, including matters under RCRA and CERCLA
• Counsel clients on climate change regulations, renewable energy issues, ESG policies, and sustainability initiatives
• Conduct environmental due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and development projects

Qualifications
• 1–10+ years of environmental law experience
• Background in regulatory compliance and environmental litigation
• Familiarity with permitting requirements and hazardous waste regulations
• Experience with climate, renewable energy, or ESG-related matters
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
