We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Full-Time Intern to join our dynamic Houston Sustainability Hub . This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects at the intersection of finance, technology, and environmental sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical skillset, a passion for cleantech, and a desire to shape the future of sustainable business.

Key Responsibilities:

The Intern will be actively involved in various projects, focusing on the following areas:

Project and Product Support:

  • Support innovation initiatives and the successful rollout of new sustainability-related products and services.

Advisory and Financial Modeling:

  • Contribute significantly to core Sustainability and Low Carbon Advisory projects.
  • Assist in complex financial modeling , data analysis, and preparation of detailed client materials.
  • Support pitch preparation and competitive analysis for prospective client engagements.
  • Assist with client prospecting efforts and pipeline development.

Research and Content Creation:

  • Conduct in-depth market research on sustainability trends, regulatory environments, and competitive landscapes.
  • Perform specialized cleantech research across various sectors (e.g., renewable energy, circular economy, carbon capture).
  • Draft internal and external notes, reports, and thought leadership pieces based on research findings.

Strategy and Commercial Planning:

  • Help shape commercial plans and go-to-market strategies for the deployment of new technologies and sustainable solutions.
  • Proactively identify new client opportunities and potential areas for business growth within the sustainability ecosystem.

Qualifications:

  • Must have completed a degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Finance, Economics, Environmental Studies, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of sustainability concepts, ESG frameworks, and low-carbon technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint .
  • Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

With respect to this position in our Houston Office, the expected base salary is $75,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
