You’ll play a key role in all phases of engineering projects, ensuring exceptional technical quality of deliverables.

- Design various systems and equipment in 3D
- Work with point clouds (3D scanning)
- Select equipment for hydroelectric, mining and industrial applications
- Create layout drawings of mechanical equipment and systems
- Perform onsite technical information surveys
- Perform detailed calculations
- Assist more experienced personnel with the technical aspects of complex tasks
- Prepare plans and specifications based on guidelines
- Foster a workplace culture that promotes having fun while delivering high-quality professional work
- Results-driven

- Proficient at problem solving
- Client-oriented
- Ability to maintain positive peer relationships
- College diploma in mechanical engineering technology
- Experience with 3D design
- Available for short assignments at client sites
- Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
- Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
- Asset: experience in the heavy industry sector (mining, petrochemicals, energy, etc.)
- Asset: familiar with SolidWorks, Revit, SmartPlant 3D, CADWorx, Ansys and AutoCAD applications
- Asset: knowledge of welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, welded assemblies and structural design
- Asset: multidisciplinary knowledge (electricity and automation)
