As Sustainability Reporting Manager, you’ll drive compliance with emerging climate-related financial disclosure requirements and strengthen governance frameworks across our Crop Science and Health divisions. - Drive Bayer’s sustainability compliance strategy—prepare the organization for mandatory climate-related financial disclosures and set the benchmark for excellence.
- Own the entire sustainability reporting lifecycle, from robust documentation and controls to audit-ready deliverables that inspire confidence.
- Shape Scope 3 emissions methodologies and spearhead supplier engagement to capture accurate, actionable data.
- Benchmark and elevate reporting standards, conducting gap analyses that position Bayer as an industry leader in transparency.
- Lead cross-divisional sustainability working groups, fostering collaboration across agriculture and health to embed ESG into the business fabric.
- Influence senior leadership with clear insights on climate risks, performance metrics, and regulatory developments that drive strategic decisions.
- Future-proof Bayer’s reporting frameworks, ensuring readiness for emerging requirements in nature, packaging, and beyond.
- Align local and global processes, creating seamless integration with Bayer’s international sustainability strategy.
- Orchestrate external partnerships, managing consultants for scenario analysis, emissions reporting, and impactful report design.
- Be the go-to expert, responding to complex sustainability inquiries from suppliers, distributors, and regulators with clarity and confidence.
- Translate complexity into simplicity, turning technical regulations into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
- Command sustainability data systems, overseeing emissions profiles, assumptions, and scenario modelling to enable precision reporting.
- Champion digital transformation, driving the adoption of cutting-edge software solutions for compliance and reporting excellence.
- Academic excellence with graduate qualifications in sustainability, agriculture, health, environmental science, or a related discipline.
- Deep expertise in sustainability reporting and climate risk frameworks, including AASB S2, IFRS S2, and TCFD—ready to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
- Proven leadership in project management and stakeholder engagement, driving collaboration and delivering results across diverse teams.
- Influence and impact—the ability to lead cross-divisional programs and shape strategic decisions at every level.
- Sector insight—experience in agriculture or health industries is highly desirable, giving you the edge to understand our business context.
- Exceptional communicator, with the skills to translate technical detail into clear, compelling narratives for all audiences.
