Your Tasks & Responsabilities
- Sustainability & Risk Projects:
- Drive change and lead global projects in strategic areas like Supplier Diversity, Decarbonization, Responsible Procurement, Human Rights, and Supplier risks.
- Data, Tools and Reporting:
- Perform spend analysis, data mining, and generate reports to inform decision-making and external reporting.
- Develop data strategies to increase transparency utilizing Power BI dashboards.
- Define, track and report progress on sustainability objectives and KPIs.
- Lead the development, usage and maintenance of digital platforms for risk and sustainability management.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Training:
- Build relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Empower procurement community with training on tools and processes.
- Represent Bayer at conferences and events (e.g. NGOs like WeConnect).
- Risk Assessment and Management:
- Accountability for the identification, assessment and mitigation of risks in the supply chain.
- Facilitate supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with standards.
- Engage with suppliers to improve ESG performance.
- Degree in related fields (science, engineering, supply chain management, business management) and 3+ years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility.
- Experience in procurement and sustainability or risk management is an advantage.
- Passion for Sustainability, Diversity or Risk.
- Experience in leading projects and defining strategies.
- Exceptional collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex topics to the organization and management.
- Proficiency in data handling, modeling and visualization using tools like Excel and Power BI.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
