Selected Intern’s Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

  • Analyzing design concepts and technical data related to gravity energy storage systems (GESS).
  • Assisting the engineering team in demo plant development and testing.
  • Creating and modifying 3D CAD models using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, and Fusion 360.
  • Designing mechanical subsystems and performing structural and stress analysis.
  • Preparing manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Conducting mechanical performance and efficiency testing and analyzing system data.
  • Supporting electro-mechanical simulations using MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Maintaining design documentation, test logs, and version-controlled repositories.
  • Assisting in drafting technical reports, research documentation, and scientific papers.
