BARC — who we are and what we are launching

BARC is a specialist engineering and security consultancy founded in Dubai and operating across the GCC, the UK and South Africa. We integrate security, IT, AV, acoustics and smart building design to deliver environments that are safe, intelligent and future-ready. Our teams work on the most impactful projects in the GCC — national museums, giga developments, stadia and critical infrastructure — where quality and speed matter.

We are now launching BARC Sustainability. This practice sits at the intersection of risk management, building technology and sustainability. We help clients make confident choices that reduce carbon, improve resilience and lift operational performance. Our offer spans advisory, design analytics, certification and efficient operations so decisions translate into measurable outcomes.

The role

Own and deliver end-to-end sustainability scopes and turn analysis into decisions clients act on. You will help establish the practice, raise delivery quality and build reusable methods that scale.

What you will do

• Lead strategies and certification across LEED, WELL, Estidama and Mostadam

• Build Sustainability and Carbon Management Plans with clear roadmaps

• Run energy, daylight, whole-life carbon and climate-risk analytics and explain the so-what

• Translate insights into buildable actions and client-ready recommendations

• Collaborate with security and technology teams so resilience and operations are integrated

• Contribute to bids, case studies and simple playbooks the team can reuse

What you bring

• Proven delivery on complex assets in the region or similar markets

• Working command of rating tools and technical reviews

• Strong project leadership across scope, time, cost, risk and quality

• Clear written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders

• Curiosity, ownership and pride in practical outcomes
